Hong Kong & Macau Trip 2012

I just had a memorable vacation in Hong Kong and Macau last week. I was with my Angelito: Batang Ama family. It was our vacation treat to ourselves for a job well done in the first season. While it was my fourth time in Hongkong, what I like about the state is that there's always something new to do and discover every time I go there.

It was my first time to stay in Hongkong Island where I got to eat in an autentic Chinese eatery, not fastfood.  This was in Tang Lung street where the chicken rice was delish.
It was my first time to enter Madame Tussauds wax museum in Victoria's Peak.  I got to take silly pictures with my favorite wax figures.  I love this one with Elvis!
It was my first time to view Hong Kong from The Sky Terrace in Victoria's Peak.  It was foggy that day, though.
On my third time in Disneyland, I finally got to meet Mickey up close for the first time!
I also got to see the new Disneyland attraction, Toy Story Land, for the first time.
It was my first time to "gimmick" in the wild Lan Kwai Fong!
It was my first time to see original Picasso artworks, currently on display in Hong Kong's Heritage Museum.  My favorite Picasso is "Man With A Moustache".
It was my first time to go to schizophrenic and indulgent Macau.  Here we were in front of the Forbidden Temple.
I had my first taste of Rome in Macau! :)
You can taste the food products in Macau before you buy them. I love the concept!
I finally got to see the Ruins of St. Paul in person, not in postcards.
I played casino for the first time in Macau!  Our group's collective winning was 90 HK dollars which we added to our tour guide payment. :)
I was able to watch a short film in a 360-degree cinema for the first time in Macau!
I also had my first taste of Venice in Macau! :D
I even got to see Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel painting in Macau! Haha!
Back in Hong Kong, I got to visit the iconic Goldfinch Restaurant for the first time!
Goldfinch Restaurant was famously used as location in classic Wong Kar Wai movies In The Mood For Love and 2046.

Can I just add that it was also the first time that I got a sty while traveling out of country?  Good thing it wasn't noticeable. :)
